v  Exercising with a heart rate monitor allows for a safe yet productive workout.  Most people who have restrictions on their heart rate level still need cardiovascular exercise, but it has to be monitored and recorded.  Talk to your health care professional about the safest range for your heart rate, and if she or he has any guidelines for your workout.
